What is Social-Emotional Learning?
Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) is the process of developing and using social and emotional skills. These skills help individuals manage daily challenges, build positive relationships, and make informed decisions. The 5 components of SEL are:
SELF-AWARENESS
Recognizing and understanding your emotions, thoughts, and values.
Assessing personal strengths.
Building self-confidence and self-efficacy.
RELATIONSHIP SKILLS
Effective communication.
Cooperation and teamwork.
Conflict resolution and resisting peer pressure.
SELF-MANAGEMENT
Regulating emotions and behavior.

Setting goals and staying motivated.

Venue: Diego Martin SOUTH Community Centre (opposite the old FCB Building)
